Fort Worth Star Telegram review of Robert Earl Keen & Terri Hendrix Bass Hall concert

Terri Hendrix opened three packed shows for fellow Texas songwriter Robert Earl Keen just before the New Year, playing at the ACL Live/Moody Theater in Austin, the Majestic Theater in her hometown of San Antonio, and at Fort Worth’s Bass Hall. Here’s what the Fort Worth Star Telegram had to say about Hendrix’s Bass Hall set:

“Austin favorite Hendrix turned in a powerful opening set, with Lloyd Maines accompanying her on guitar, mandolin and steel.Hendrix was especially appealing on The Spiritual Kind, A Thousand Times and a spoken-word offering If I Had a Daughter, compositions that showed off her versatility, instrumental skill and strong, emotional vocals.”
